Created in 1933, by my Grandfather, Charles Archibald Newman Baker this sketchbook is a treasure to an art teacher. Notice the craftsmanship exhibited in the lines, borders, signed name, and the unwrinkled paper.
Art is timeless, as the same techniques are taught still today. If you were going to create a time capsule to be opened 20, 30, 50, 100 years from today, what would you include? It's crazy to think about your grandchildren holding the art that you once created with your hands, admiring your signature, penmanship, and wondering the meaning behind your images.
